WRC's 8th Annual Westie
Highland Games & BBQ
will take place:
New Date! Sunday, September 13, 2009 New Date!
Strathcona Science Park
10980 - 17 Street
Edmonton, AB T6S 1E4

Directions: off Highway
16A, (Baseline Road), 2 KM North on 17th Street,
turn left into parking lot.
12 p.m. - Registration and
pledge form drop off
1 p.m - The fun and games begin!
Rain or shine - we'll be
there!
The event will be held under cover if it does rain.
PLEASE NOTE
As the games are a fundraiser for
Westie Rescue of Canada (WRC), only attendees who bring pledge
forms and/or donations are eligible to register and participate
in all prize-winning events at the games.

- Prizes
awarded for ALL games. Everyone who brings
a pledge sheet and/or donation will be entered in a raffle
for one of the door prizes.
Special prize awarded to the Westie and owner
who collect the most pledges.
- Volunteers and Donations of Prizes Welcome and Very Much Appreciated!
- If you are interesting
in volunteering on the Westie Highland Games committee and/or on the day itself, donating any prizes at this year's event, putting up flyers and helping us to spread the word,

FOR EVERYONE'S BENEFIT |

All pets must be on a leash &
under control at all times. |

All pets must have up-to-date shots or titres,
and must comply with
applicable City Bylaws. |

People & pets must comply with
all park regulations. |
|
People are required to clean up
after their own pets.
Bags and pooper scoopers will be available at the park. |

All Westies are welcome. However,
only those who are physically fit may
participate in the games |

- PLEASE READ!
This is a fun event and we discourage
the use of pinch or
prong collars, unless under the supervision of an
experienced trainer. The committee reserves the right to
ask people to withdraw pets which present a health or
safety hazard to themselves or others. All participants enter
the Westie Highland Games at their own risk and hold
Westie Rescue of Canada (WRC) and any of its sponsors
blameless from any claims for injury or loss.

then click on okay. This should download the file to your
computer. The file is virus-free from this download location.
